Thought we may need one of these. I will NOT play the Doctor, who will be 12 (12 being an OC)

Appearance: Light brown hair, tan skin, bright blue eyes. She is slim and lovely. She wears black jeans, heeled grey ankle boots, and a dark pink shot-sleeved top, with a black cami underneath. Her earrings are little silver studs of the moon, her necklace a silver star.
Ethnicity/race: French
Background: Moved from France alone because her parents didn't believe her that her boyfriend had raped her. She has a light french accent and is very interested in space and the space-time continuum. She reads all she can about aliens, and is very interested in the extraterrestrial. She has a job at a café. She has met the 11th Doctor. She has a small fragment of the TARDIS's soul in her, so she knows everything about the Doctor and the TARDIS. She does not know this, however.
Skills: can identify most aliens, and is very knowledgable about space and time.
Weakness: soft-hearted. She will help those that need it, and she has gotten hurt because of it.

Weaknesses: Her curiosity

No, I won't participate anymore. It's not my fault you only know the new series. An rp about a show like DR Who should be about the show and the characters/companions etc and not the new series alone. This is an RP and an RP contains existing characters as made up characters. You accept existing character River Song but you don't accept exisiting character Romana while both are the same as the Doctor. So that's very odd. So I will definitely NOT make up another character and therefor won't participate in the rp.

I want creativity! THAT'S WHY I MADE THIS!!!!! So you could create a new char, and have fun! but fine..... you can be Romana.

We had to wear her down in the chatbox before she agreed to River and Eleven, too, as she doesn't know them yet, either And I agree, we should all be able to decide if we want to roleplay an existing or original character. If others don't know our character, then it doesn't really matter, because we don't know anything about the original characters either. I don't know Romana yet, since I haven't gotten that far, but I think it would be fun to roleplay with you as Romana because you could then teach me about her personality and such in the things you say and do during the roleplay. Same with 10's OC Mariana.

Roleplaying should be about having fun. You might enjoy making up new characters, while for me, who primarily has a background in writing fanfiction, making up a new character is a pain. It is why I have never, ever ventured into the world of original fiction, because I am comfortable with characters who are already established. I love the challenge of exploring them, figuring out how they would act, think and feel in new settings. You might see that none of us are complaining that you are choosing to be an original character instead of picking an existing one, that is your choice and we are happy to play with said character.
